You may assume your are making a safer investment through a big box store....or you may have heard that client inquiries don't generate call backs and you may even know of a horror story where there were problems on the project.
What you may not know is that the fees for passing these inquiries onto the contractor range from as low as 5% to 18% before the cost of displays and staffing is factored in - surely another 8-9% which when added to the first totals nearly 25% extra in marketing costs.
